What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy treatment involves reducing pain and stiffness and improving movement
by using soft tissue and joint mobilisation/manipulation plus exercise.
These techniques facilitate the body's healing process and restore normal function.
In addition your physiotherapist may use electronic therapies such as interferential treatment and ultrasound - which stimulate cellular activity and healing and provide pain relief.
Mobilisation and Manipulation
Involves passively moving your joint or joints to restore full movement and to stretch the surrounding soft tissue.
This reduces muscle spasm and releases endorphins (your body's natural pain relievers).
Practice Hours: 8am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday & 9am to 12noon Saturday
